NACOGDOCHES, Texas – NM State dropped game one of the series against Stephen F. Austin Friday afternoon after the Lumberjacks erupted for eight runs in the final four innings of the game.
Despite having more hits than the 'Jacks, the Aggies couldn't seem to find any answers for SFA's pitching. In total, the Aggies left eight runners stranded on the basepaths and failed to produce a single extra-base-hit.
Half of SFA's hits (6) went for extra bases with two of them coming in big spots with runners on base. Lumberjacks starter, Alexis Telford, pitched the entire game, only allowing just the one run to come across.

After a scoreless fifth by the Aggies, the 'Jacks were rolling in the home half of the inning. It started with back-to-back one-out walks to put to runners on the basepaths. After recording the second out of the inning,

Sixth Inning
Another quick inning by the Aggies offense brought the 'Jacks back to the plate, looking to add to their 4-1 lead. After loading the bases,
Aydenne Brown was out of the pitchers' circle as

Laurali Patane, hoping her veteran pitcher can get her out of a hole. A walk and a double allowed SFA to plate four more runners in the inning, putting them ahead by seven as the game progressed into the seventh inning.
