Sophomore Kacey Dalpes continued to lead the Aggie squad as she finished in a team-high tie for 37th place with a total score of 17-over-par 233 (73-80-80).

Freshman and California native Camille Orito moved up 14 spots from day one after shooting a team-best 6-over 78 during the final round.  She finished in a tie for 65th with a total score of 27-over 243 (84-81-78).

Rounding out the NM State squad was junior Paige Darwin in a tie for 70th place with a 30-over-par 246 (81-80-85), freshman Valeria Macias who shot a total 34-over 250 (84-79-87) to finish in 78th place and junior Laura Barron who finished in 86th place with a 51-over-par 267 (86-94-87).

The No. 1 team in the country, Southern California, took control in round two and cruised to an easy 13-stroke victory on Tuesday.  The Trojans finished at 1-under-par 863 (296-277-290) to take their third Bruin-Wave crown in the five years of its existence.

Hosts Pepperdine and UCLA switched places from the second round to finish in second and third, respectively.  The Wave finished second with a total-team score of 12-over 876 (291-290-295) while the Bruins wound up third with a 22-over 886 (292-286-308).

USC took the top-3 individual spots en route to winning the tournament.  Kyung Kim, who started the final round one shot back of teammate Doris Chen for the lead, jumped over her fellow Trojan to take the individual crown with a 3-under-par 213 (70-70-73).  Chen and Annie Park, who had the low round of the day (-3), finished one shot back of Kim at 2-under 214 to make it a USC sweep.

The Aggies will now return home to prepare for a trip to Mesa, Ariz., to participate in a tournament hosted by Notre Dame.  The three-round tournament is scheduled to run from Friday, March 14, through Sunday, March 16.
