LAS CRUCES – The NM State athletic department today announced a new promotion geared towards the first four home men’s basketball games this season.  The Towers 575 poster series will feature four of the men’s basketball team’s largest players, emphasizing that NM State has one of the biggest teams in the whole country.  The ‘Towers 575’ poster series is sponsored by our friends at Subway and Wells Fargo.

The first 4,000 fans to each of the first four home games will receive one of the posters, with additional copies being available at local Wells Fargo and Subway stores on the day following the game.

The series will feature Bandja Sy, Tshildzi Nephawe, Sim Bhullar and Renaldo Dixon posing with some of the area’s most recognizable landmarks.  Only the first design will be released prior to the home opener.  After that, the posters will be viewable for the first time at the game.

·         Poster 1: Thursday, Nov. 15 at 8PM vs. SE Louisiana

·         Poster 2: Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 7PM vs. N. New Mexico

·         Poster 3: Friday, Nov. 23 at 7:30PM vs. Louisiana

·         Poster 4: Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7PM vs. Southern Miss

NM State is coming off a 2011-12 season that included a WAC championship and an NCAA berth.  With a roster that includes seven players standing at 6’ 7” or taller, and four players at least 6’ 10”, the Aggies are one of the largest teams in the country.
