Ryan Dozier begins his second season with the Aggies as the coordinator of player development.  His responsibilities include video operations, equipment and daily administrative duties.

The Aggies won first WAC regular season title in 2007-08 after finishing 12-4 in the conference.  NMSU (21-14) played in its second consecutive WAC Tournament title game but missed the NCAA Tournament after falling in triple overtime in one of the most exciting conference championship games of the season to Boise State.

Nationally, the Aggies ranked in the top 25 in three statistical team categories including rebounding margin.  NMSU was second in the country, only trailing North Carolina, with an advantage of 8.9 rebounds per game.  The high-powered Aggie offense also ranked No. 17 in scoring offense (79.8 points per game) and No. 24 in field goal percentage (47.6).

Dozier was promoted after joining the team as a program specialist in 2007-08.  He arrived in Las Cruces following a two-year stint as the head manager at Louisville.

As a four-year student manager at Louisville, Dozier was not only a supervisor for two seasons but he also set-up player instruction and prepared the team before practice and game days.  He also worked with Louisville’s 2005 Final Four team.

A Louisville, Ky., native, Dozier earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2007.  He graduated from duPont Manual High School where he was a four-year member of the Crimson basketball team.
