LOGAN, Utah--
The first event of the 2009 Track and Field WAC Championships is in the books
and
New Mexico State’s
freshman Jordan Woods has recorded a fifth-place finish in the heptathlon,
Thursday, May 14, in
Logan, Utah.
Woods tallied a total of four team points after recording 4,425
points. In the 100-meter hurdles she
recorded a time of 16.25, in the high jump she leaped 5-01, in the shot put she
registered a distance of 35-05.75, in the 200-meter she clocked a time of 26.54,
in the long jump she recorded a mark of 5.03meters, in the javelin throw she
threw for a distance of 94-11 and in the 800-meter run she crossed the finish line
in a time of 2:28.95.
