2007 (Junior): Vincent played in 11 games for the Aggies at defensive back, starting five games. He tallied 29 tackles, 16 of those solo efforts. Butler had one sack, two pass break-ups and a fumble recovery. His best game came against SEC powerhouse Auburn (9/22) as he grabbed eight tackles, his first career sack and pass break-up. Butler recorded five tackles against Boise State (10/7) and four tackles against UTEP (9/15) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (9/29).
NMMI: In two years at NMMI, Butler had 69 tackles, 12 pass breakups, one quarterback sack and one interception where he was primarily matched up against the opponent’s top receiver.
High School: In high school, Butler transferred from Los Angeles, Calif. to North Mesquite High School his junior year and spent that year as a running back. His senior year he moved to cornerback where in his first year at the position he earned honorable mention all-district accolades while recording 42 tackles along with two interceptions. Vince ran track at North Mesquite and he qualified for the regional state meet in the 400 meter dash.
Personal: Vince is the son of Derrick & Antionette Raleigh. He is undecided in his major.
