2009 (Redshirt Freshman): Walls played in 10 games for the Aggies at quarterback, starting four. He threw for 352 yards on 46-of-94 passing and two touchdowns. Walls also rushed for one touchdown on the season at Boise State (12/5). He started games against New Mexico (9/26), Utah State (10/10), Fresno State (11/24) and Louisiana Tech (10/17). His best game of the season came at San Diego State (10/3), where he passed for 103 yards and a touchdown. His first career touchdown was against UTEP (9/19). Versus Utah State, Walls threw for 81 yards on 8-of-25 passing.
2008 (Freshman): Walls redshirted during his first season with the Aggies.
High School: Walls was a standout quarterback for Waverly High School in Ohio. He was a three-year starter for Waverly recording 6,292 passing yards and 67 touchdowns, completing 62 percent of his passes as a starter. He also led his team to 25-5 record as a starter for the Tigers. As a senior, Walls led his team to a 9-1 overall record and a spot in the second round of the Ohio playoffs. He threw for 2,500 yards, earning first team all-Ohio and first team honors as Player of the Year in the Southeast District. He was also named first team and player of the year in the Southern Ohio Conference. Walls was also named a first team quarterback and Player of the Year by the Portsmouth Daily Times. As a junior, he threw for 2,300 yards leading his team to an undefeated record in the regular season. As a sophomore, he tallied 1,492 passing yards.
Personal: Walls is the son of Rick and Brenda Walls. He plans to major in electrical engineering.
