NM State Equestrian Set to Competition in Delaware

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- The NM State equestrian team travels to Dover, Del., this weekend to face Delaware State on Friday, Nov. 1 and Fresno State and Sacred Heart on Saturday, Nov. 2. The Aggies are currently ranked No. 8 by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association.

“I’m confident that our team is ready to have a good weekend in Delaware,” head coach Robin Morris-Walters said. “We are the only ranked team in this weekend’s event. The team has been working hard since our last competition to sharpen up their rides. I’m extremely excited to see what we can do.”

On the Western side, Marissa Bartmann, Lauren DeVoe, Haley Newkirk, Rianna Storey, Brynn Larson, Tara Wilson, Jessica Woolsey and Clarissa Edgerton will represent the Aggies.

Shannon Dooley, Julie Frey, Emily McConnell, Beth Solomon, Hannah Swarthout and Amber Tassel will ride for the Hunter Seat team.
