Four Equestrian Riders named Honorable Mention All-American

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced the 2012 All-American selections on Tuesday, as four NM State Hunter Seat riders were named honorable mention selections.

Equitation over Fences riders Amy Lang and Emily McConnell and Equitation on the Flat riders Stephanie Gershon and Ruby Jenkins all garnered honorable mention awards.

Lang currently holds a record of 12-3 on the season with two MVP honors, while McConnell is 10-5 on the year with a team-high five MVP awards. Gershon was 11-4 on the regular season recording two MVP honors, as Jenkins held a 10-3 overall record with three MVP awards.

The Aggies will compete at the National Collegiate Equestrian Championships, April 12-14 in Waco, Texas.
