LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The New Mexico State equestrian team will host its final home stand of the 2011-12 season March 9-10 at the NM State Equestrian Center. The Aggies will face No. 2 Auburn on Friday at 8 a.m. and Fresno State on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. (MT)

The No. 8 ranked NM State Aggies, according to the latest Women's Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll, are currently 7-6 overall this season. Auburn is 6-3 on the year, while Fresno State holds a 7-6 record.

NM State faced TCU in its last outing, winning 12-6. The Hunter Seat team won with a score of 7-3, while the Western team was victorious by a score of 5-3.

In Equitation on the Flat, Rudy Jenkins was named MVP after an 83-61 win, while in Equitation over Fences, Emily McConnell was also named MVP with a 71-69 win. Jessica Woolsey was named MVP in Horsemanship with a 75-72.5 win.
