Entering her 27th year as the program coordinator for the Aggie men's basketball program, Torres is by far the longest tenured member of the New Mexico State basketball staff. She has worked with four Aggie head coaches including Neil McCarthy, Lou Henson, Reggie Theus and current head coach Marvin Menzies. Torres spent 11 years with McCarthy, eight seasons with Henson, two years with Theus, and she is beginning her sixth season with Menzies.
As program coordinator, Torres is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties related to Menzies while also assisting other assistant coaches and support staff on a daily basis.
Torres also handles all ticket-related issues involving the Aggie men's basketball program while also overseeing the Sixth Man Club, the program's official booster club.
During her three decades of service to New Mexico State, Torres has also worked in the Department of Computer Science, the New Mexico State Human Resources Office and the University President's office.
Torres, who was born and raised in Las Cruces, is married to Frank Torres and they have four children: Frankie (31), Christina (30), Jaime (26) and Lorena (24).
