Baseball

The New Mexico State baseball team takes a break from WAC play this week as it heads to Seattle, Wash., to face the Seattle Redhawks in a four-game non-conference series from Thursday, April 28 through Saturday, April 30. Game one of the series is set for 7 p.m., Thursday, while Friday features a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m. The series finale versus the Redhawks is set for an 11 a.m. start, Saturday. All four games are scheduled to air on the radio in Las Cruces on KSNM AM 570 with Jeff Matthews.  

 

Women’s Golf

After placing second in the 2011 WAC Championship, the NM State women’s golf team awaits the NCAA Regional Tournament announcement. The announcement is scheduled for Monday, April 25 at 5 p.m. A release will be made through the NCAA at approximately 5:30 p.m.

 

Softball

The first-place New Mexico State softball team hits the road for its final regular-season road trip of the year. The Aggies play their final non-conference game Wednesday, April 27 at Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles at 1 p.m. NM State then continues on to Hawai’i  for a three-game WAC series against the Rainbow Wahine with a single game Friday, April 29 at 10 p.m. followed by a doubleheader Saturday, April 30 starting at 8 p.m.

 

Men’s Tennis

The NM State men’s tennis team travels to Boise, Idaho, for the WAC Tournament, which takes place Friday, April 29 to Sunday, May 1. The Aggies received a first-round bye after earning the No. 2 seed. NM State faces the winner of the Idaho-Boise State match, Saturday, April 30.

 

Women’s Tennis

The NM State women’s tennis team travels to Boise, Idaho, for the WAC Tournament, which will take place Friday, April 29 to Sunday, May 1.

 

Track and Field

The Aggie track and field team competes at the New Mexico Don Kirby Invite, Saturday, April 30. The action begins at 9 a.m.
