N-M-S-U, Go! Go! This cry can be heard at Aggie basketball, football or other sports games. Fans may think that this is all that being a cheerleader entails; going to games and cheering on the team by waving pompoms and yelling chants. In fact, there is much more that goes into being a member of the NM State cheer team. It takes time, dedication and tremendous skill. Watch members of the cheer team talk about what is takes to be a cheerleader, and the upcoming competition they are preparing for. Coach Jessica Franklin will try to lead the Aggies to victory in Anaheim, Calif., Feb. 26-27.
