Wednesday

  • NMSU Coaches Show

o   The NMSU Coaches’ Show, featuring head Men’s and Women’s Basketball coaches and other NM State coaches and student-athletes, will now be broadcast live from the University Club restaurant and bar, located on the third floor of the Stan Fulton Athletics Center. The Coach’s Show is held every Wednesday night from 6-8PM.

o   Due to this event, the University Club’s hours of operations have moved from Monday to Wednesday nights. The restaurant will be open from 4:30 to 9PM on Wednesday nights only.

o   NMSU students, faculty and staff will no longer need to drive off campus to enjoy a great evening of sports talk and fine dining. Plus, the University Club honors Flex points on all items, excluding alcohol.

  • Women’s Basketball vs. Nevada @ 7 PM

o   The Women’s Basketball team plays host to Nevada this Wednesday at 7 PM.  Sponsored by El Paso Electric.

Thursday

  • Men’s Basketball vs. Hawaii @ 7 PM

o   The Men’s Basketball team plays host to Hawaii this Thursday at 7PM.  Sponsored by Sunland Park and The Roundup.

o   This is our “Faculty and Staff Appreciation” game where any F/S who show a valid ID at the ticket window will receive the $6 discounted ticket toward upper level seating.

o   Students have the chance to win $10,000.00 at half-time as well as an IPOD Touch.

Friday

  • Coach Menzies & Spence Luncheon
    • Join head Basketball coach Marvin Menzies & Darrin Spence at De La Vega's Pecan Grill on Friday, January 14th at noon for lunch and a discussion about the upcoming games.
    • There is no cost to attend the event other than your lunch bill.
    • De La Vega's Pecan Grill is located just north of the Mesilla Valley Mall.

Saturday

  • Men’s Basketball vs. San Jose State @ 7 PM

o   The Men’s Basketball team plays host to San Jose State this Saturday at 7 PM.  Sponsored by Rt. 66.

o   This will be our first ever “Elementary School Night”.  Any child under 12 who shows their report card at the ticket window will receive FREE admission toward upper level seating.

1.     Also parents make sure you have your child check in at the marketing table through half-time to let us know what Elementary School they attend, the school with the highest attendance will receive a visit from the Men’s Basketball team!

2.     Half-time Mascot basketball game!

o   Students have the chance to win $10,000.00 at half-time!
