Mak Tied For 88th at NCAA West Regional; Final Round is Saturday

ERIE, Colo. (May 11, 2012) - Sophomore Demi Mak shot three strokes better in round two of the NCAA Division I Women's Golf West Regional than in round one and is now tied for 88 with a 155 (79-76) on the the 6,575 yard, par 72 Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo.

The Hong Kong native tallied one birdie and 12 pars on day two and is currently tied with two other players for 88th. She did not have any double bogeys or worse on the day but had bogeys on holes 3, 6, 11 and 15.

Stanford continues to lead all teams and is just one stroke ahead of Louisiana State. The Cardinal have a 580 in two rounds of play and LSU has a 581 after posting a 290 on Friday, which was the lowest score for any team in the West Regional.

The final round of the tournament is set to begin with tee-times starting at 7:30a.m. (MT), Saturday, May 12.
