NM State Menís Golf 13th at NCAA Regional

Sugar Grove, Ill.  – The New Mexico State men’s golf team fired a second round score of 27-over par at the 2014 NCAA Regional Golf Tournament, Friday at the par 72, 7151-yard, Rich Harvest Farms Golf Course. The Aggies are 56-over par, 632 (317-315) and 13th overall after the second round.  

 

Senior Willy Hogan continues to lead NM State after a second round score of 4-over par, 76. He is currently in a tie for 21st overall with a two-round score of 6-over par, 150. Sophomore Kenneth Fadke II is tied for 37th, shooting a 5-over par, 77 in round two and is now 11-over par, 155 after two rounds.

 

Junior Brett Walker carded a 9-over par, 81 in round two and sits tied for 63rd overall with a two-round score of 18-over par, 162. Freshman Luis Medina was also 9-over par, 81 in round two and is 71st overall with a two-round score of 24-over par, 168.

 

Junior Pat Beyhan is currently tied for 72nd overall with a two-round score 25-over par, 169. He carded a second round score of 13-over par, 85.

 

No. 21 UAB leads the tournament at 8-over par, followed by No. Illinois (+9), No. 33 Clemson (+15), California (+17) and No. 16 USC (+18). Illinois’ Brian Campbell leads the individual scoring a 5-under par.
