Beyhan named WAC Golfer of the Week

DENVER – New Mexico State’s Pat Beyhan has been named the Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for Jan. 27-Feb. 2.

Beyhan, a junior from Albuquerque, N.M. (Western New Mexico), helped lead the Aggies to a fifth-place finish at the Arizona Intercollegiate last week. He carded a three-round score of 1-over par, 214, placing tied for fifth overall. Beyhan opened the tournament with a 3-under par 68, recording two birdies, an eagle, and only one bogey. For the tournament, Beyhan had six birdies and an eagle.

The Aggies will be back in action on Feb. 21-23 at the Bayou City Classic in Houston, Texas.
