San Antonio, Texas – The New Mexico State men’s golf team sits in 13th place at the UTSA/Lone Star Invitational after two rounds. The Aggies carded a 16-over par, 304 team score in round two at the par 72, 6,931-yard Hill Country resort Golf Club. NM State is 34-over par, 610 after two rounds.
Kenneth Fadke led the Aggies in round two with an even-par, 72. He is tied for 30th overall at 5-over par, 149 after two rounds. Justin Shin carded a 3-over par, 75 in round two, placing him in a tie for 34th. Shin is 6-over par, 150 through two rounds.
Willy Hogan is currently tied for 51st with a two round score of 10-over par, 154. Hogan shot a 9-over par, 81 in round two. Derek Baade improved nine strokes from round one with a 4-over par, 76 in round two. He is currently tied for 75th overall at 17-over par, 161. Taylor Mihok was 10-over par, 82 in round two and is now tied for 77th at 19-over par, 163 for the tournament.
Zach Adams, who is playing as an individual, is tied for 75th overall with a two-round score of 17-over par, 161. He carded an 8-over par, 80 in round two.
North Texas leads the tournament at 3-over par, followed by Denver (+6), Central Arkansas (+9), UTSA (+13) and Houston (+15). Rodolfo Cazaubon of North Texas leads the tournament as an individual at 6-under par.
The Aggies will be back in action tomorrow for the final round of the Lone Star Invitational.
