LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Junior men's golfer Justin Shin was named a Division I PING All-Region team member announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America earlier this week. Shin is one of 155 golfers across six regions to earn All-Region honors and the lone honoree from the Western Athletic Conference.

Shin finished his season by helping the Aggies to a second place finish at the WAC Tournament, earning first team All-WAC honors and an at-large bid to the NCAA Regional Golf Championships as an individual. In 2011-12, Shin competed in 12 events finishing with a 70.83 strokes per round average, which led the WAC.
