Men's Golf Set for Wyoming Cowboy Classic

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The New Mexico State men's golf team will travel to Scottsdale, Ariz., for the 10th Annual Wyoming Cowboy Classic presented by Cleveland Golf/Srixon, April 9-10. The tournament will be held at the 7,133-yard, par 70 Talking Stick Golf Club, North Course.

The Aggies' lineup will consist of seniors Zachery Fullerton and Gaston De La Torre, junior Justin Shin, freshman Brett Walker and newcomer Zach Adams. 

Both days will begin at 8:30 a.m. (MT) with a shotgun start, as the field will play two rounds of 18 holes on Monday and one final round of 18 holes on Tuesday. The Aggies won this tournament back in 2006 as a team, while Danny Bowen won the individual title as well.

NM State will compete against some of the top teams in the nation including: Wyoming, Colorado State, Arizona State, Texas Tech, Boise State, Nevada, Wichita State, Colorado, UC Davis, Kansas State, Air Force, Northern Colorado, Santa Clara, Old Dominion, Cal State Northridge, Gonzaga, San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, Weber State, Utah State, Kansas and Arizona.

Results for the tournament will be available at www.NMStateSports.com following each day of play.
