LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men’s golf team currently holds a top-50 ranking in two different national collegiate golf polls. The Aggies are No. 47 in the latest GolfStat.com poll and No. 50 in the GolfWeek.com poll.

“This is the results of a lot of hard work and time by our golf team,” head coach Mike Dirks said. “We are learning from all the time they have put in and it’s showing by lowering their scores. It doesn’t take much to make big changes. This is fun for our players and now they have some motivation.”

The Aggies have two team wins this season at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate and the Price’s Give Em Five. NM State is back in action on March 10-11 at the Louisiana Classic in Lafayette, La.
