NM State Menís Golf Tied for 12th at William H. Tucker

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico State men’s golf team competed in rounds one and two of the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, Friday, Sept. 27 at the 7,562-yard, par-72 UNM Championship Golf Course. The Aggies are currently tied for 12th overall after a two-round team score of 40-over par, 616 (301-315).

The Aggies were led by Patrick Beyhan, who carded rounds of 71 and 77 on the day and finished tied for 17th overall with a two-round score of 4-over par, 148 (71-77). Kenneth Fadke II followed just one stroke behind at 5-over par, 149 (74-75) and is tied for 24th overall.

The rest of the Aggie golfers struggled in rounds one and two.

Willy Hogan is currently tied for 86th overall after a two-round score of 17-over par, 161 (79-82), while Brett Walker was 18-over par, 162 (77-85) and tied at 91st overall.

Travis Benson rounded out the Aggie competitors with a two-round score of 19-over par, 163 (82-81), currently holding in a tie for 93rd.

Arizona State leads the team tournament at 5-under par, followed by New Mexico (+6), BYU (+15), UNLV (+17) and USC (+17). Jullen Brun of TCU and Jon Rahm of Arizona State are currently tied for first at 4-under par.

The Aggies will tee off tomorrow morning for the final round of the William H. Tucker at 7:45 a.m.
