LAS CRUCES, N.M. (June 5, 2012) - CollegeSportsMadnees.com announced the 2012 Madness All-American Baseball Teams, May 31, with New Mexico State junior catcher Zac Fisher making the fourth team.

"We are very proud of Zac," head coach Rocky Ward said. "He is more than deserving of the honor and he represents the entire program, university and community."

Fisher adds to his list of honors as he was named a Louisville Slugger NCAA Division I All-American, a 2011 ABCA All-Region member, a preseason All-American (NCBWA, CollegeSportsMadness.com, CollegebaseballInsider.com), and a 2012 first team All-WAC selection.

He led the team and the conference in batting average (.355), hits (82) and RBI (60), while leading the team in slugging percentage (.511) and total bases (118) in 2012 as he helped the Aggies reach an NCAA Regional Tournament for the first time since 2003 and for the third time in program history.

NM State was eliminated from the Tucson Regional after losing to Louisville 3-2 and Missouri 6-2.
