Aggies Set For NCAA Regional Tournament as No. 2 Seed; Take on No. 3 Louisville on Friday

This Week: The New Mexico State baseball team (35-22) was selected as one of 34 at-large bids to participate in the 2012 NCAA Tournament and is a No. 2 seed in the Tucson Regional Tournament hosted by the University of Arizona.  The Aggies face No. 3 seed Louisville, Friday, June 1 at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson, Ariz.  First pitch is set for 5pm (MT).  If the Aggies win the first game, they will play the winner of game two on Saturday, June 2 at 9pm (MT) in Tucson; however, if the Aggies lose their first game, they will take on the loser of game two on Saturday, June 2 at 5pm (MT).  Depending what happens from that point determines when NM State plays next.

Media Coverage:  The games played in the Tucson Regional on Friday and Saturday are scheduled to air on ESPNU and online at ESPN3.com. Sunday's games in Tucson will only air on the Internet at ESPN3.com.  All games played by the Aggies in the 2012 NCAA Tournament will air over the radio waves in Las Cruces on KSNM AM 570 with Jeff Matthews giving the play-by-play action. Fans can also listen to the games on the Internet at www.NMStateSports.com for a fee.  Live stats are available online at NMStateSports.com free of charge.

Ticket Information: All-session prices are as follows: Reserved:  $50; General Admission:  $40. There will be a $6 order charge for all orders.  All-Session General Admission tickets will go on sale to the public on Sunday, May 27th online at 1:00pm. Single-Session ticket prices are as follows: Reserved:  $15; General Admission:  $10.

General Admission public sales will be available over the phone and in-person at the McKale Ticket Office beginning Tuesday, May 29th at 9:00am. If any Reserved seats remain after the season ticket holder window they would be open for sale on Tuesday, May 29th at 6:00pm. McKale Ticket Office Phone Number: 520-621-2287.
