Release:  07/02/2012

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (July 2)-New Mexico State swimming and diving head coach Rick Pratt has signed Dorottya Lennert to a National Letter of Intent to join the Aggies in 2012-13.

A Budapest, Hungary native, Lennert specializes in the butterfly events and is the 11th member of the Aggies' 2012 Class.

"She has had a successful career at home and came to us very late in the process," Pratt said. "She will contribute right away and should be a great help not only in her individual events, but on our medley relays as well. She is a great lady, and someone I am looking forward to working with. This will be a huge freshman class for us, and I am excited to get things going."

Lennert joins swimmers Jona Helena Bjarnadottir, Nicole Brennecke, Moranda Madero, Mariah Morrell, Emily Nightingale, Chelsey Reber, Cassandra Rupp and MacKenzie Soper along with divers Lauren Reifel and Audrey Ruiz in the Class of 2012.
