NMSU Cross Country BIO

2011 Cross Country (Freshman): As a freshman, Lementino was received the honor of 2nd Team All-Conference after her performance at the WAC Championships.  Lementino put together an excellent freshman season in 2011, finishing in the top five for NM State in every event she competed in.  One of Lementino's best performances came at the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational (Sept. 10) when she placed first for NM State and sixth overall in the 5,080m with a time of 20:07.8.  Lementino posted her season-best time of 18:49.7 in the 6K at the Kachina Classic (Sept. 17), placing 11th overall and fourth for NM State.  Lementino was the only freshman to run for NM State at the WAC Championships (Oct. 29), placing third for NM State and 13th overall with a time of 19:11.8.  Lementino also ran at the Pre-Nationals (Oct. 16), placing fourth for NM State with a time of 23:09 in the 6K.  Lementino was only one of seven athletes and the only freshman to run for NM State in the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, placing fourth for NM State with a time of 23:23.2 in the 6K.  Lementino also placed third for NM State in the Lobo Invitational (Sept. 3) and fifth for NM State in the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree (Oct. 1).

High School:  Lementino ran cross country and track for all four years of high school at Rio Rancho High School, N.M.  Lementino was named to the All Harrier Team in 2010.  Lementino was named to the 1st team all-district and 1st team all-academic from 2006-2011.  Lementino was a 3-time district champion in cross country and named All-State in cross country for three years and in track for two years.  Lementino currently holds the school record for the 3200m.  Lementino also won the School Sportsmanship Award.

Personal:  Lementino was born in Albuquerque, N.M., and is the daughter of Glenn Lementino and Trudy Bobelu.  Lementino plans to major in Kinesiology.
