McMillion Collects Second Team All-WAC Honors

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (Nov. 2)-New Mexico State junior forward Yolanda McMillion earned second team All-WAC soccer honors, the conference office announced at the postseason banquet in Fresno, Calif. This is McMillion's first career postseason award, which is voted on by the eight league coaches, and the fourth in school history.

McMillion led the Aggies in points (14), assists (4), shots (47) and shots on goal (24). She is also tied for the team high in goals (5) in 2011. McMillion ranks in the top 10 in the WAC in many statistical categories. She is the Aggies' all-time leader in career goals (15), career points (35), game-winning goals (7) and shots (86).

The Aggies meet Hawai'i, Thursday, Nov. 3 at 3:30 p.m. in Fresno, Calif., in the first round of the WAC Tournament. The Aggies qualified for the tournament as the No. 6 seed and Hawai'i is the No. 3 seed.
