Aggie Soccer Falls at Boise State

BOISE, Idaho (Oct. 8)-The New Mexico State soccer team fell at Boise State in the second weekend of WAC play, 6-0.

 

The Aggies moved to 6-5-2 and 0-3-0 in the conference while the Broncos improved to 5-7-1 and 2-0-0.

 

Freshman midfielder Mary Kate Koziol led the Aggies with three shots. Redshirt freshman Mikaela Bitner and freshman Erin Wosick split time in goal with seven combined saves.

 

Boise State, the defending WAC Tournament Champions, scored in the 10th minute of action. The Broncos posted a 3-0 advantage at halftime and then added three more scores in the second period.

 

NM State continues its WAC road trip at Idaho, Sunday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. in Moscow, Idaho.
