For the second consecutive contest, sophomore forward/midfielder Crystal Burns guided the Aggies with a pair of goals.

At halftime, the Aggies held a 1-0 lead after a goal from sophomore forward Cassie De Leon in the seventh minute of the match. Burns set-up the score with a nice cross from the left side of the box that allowed the De Leon tap in.
NM State increased the lead to 2-0 in the 63rd minute when Burns scored on a strike that sailed over freshman goalkeeper Kylie Robinett’s fingertips.
During the 83rd minute, sophomore forward Veronica Subu gave the Aggies a 3-0 advantage on a breakaway from the right side. Then just two minutes later, Subu found Burns at the left corner of the box for the final score of the match.
