Aggies Travel to Louisiana Tech
The New Mexico State women's basketball team (6-20, 3-8 WAC) travels to Louisiana Tech (14-12, 7-4 WAC) to battle the Lady Techsters at 5:00 p.m. MT Saturday.
The contest begins the Aggies' final three-game road trip of the season. LA Tech knocked off NM State 69-42 on Jan. 28 in Las Cruces.

NM State is looking for its first win against LA Tech since Valentine's Day 2008 when the Aggies knocked off the Lady Techsters 65-55 in Las Cruces. Since then LT has won eight straight in the series and leads the all-time battle 15-2.
The Aggies and Lady Techsters both hosted the same conference teams with different results. The Aggies fell to Hawai'i on Feb. 16, 58-51 while LT defeated San Jose State 73-68 in Ruston. On Saturday NM State also defeated SJSU 56-55 while the Lady Techsters dropped its game to Hawai'i, 61-49.
Inside the Series with LA Tech
The Lady Techsters have won eight straight in the series and lead it 15-2 overall. NM State last beat the Lady Techsters at home on Feb. 14, 2008, 65-55. The Aggies' other series win occurred at the 2007 WAC tourney quarterfinals held in Las Cruces, with NM State posting a 63-57 victory.
LT knocked off NM State 69-42 on Jan. 28 in Las Cruces. Louisiana Tech swept the Aggies last season in back-to-back games. LT won in Ruston 85-63 on Feb. 7 then defeated the Aggies 88-79 in Las Cruces on Feb. 12.
