Release:  11/08/2013

The New Mexico State athletics department is running a series so that fans can “Get to Know” the 2013-14 Aggie men’s basketball team before opening its home schedule, Nov. 15 against UTEP.  Today the series features junior K.C. Ross-Miller.

The 22-year-old point guard comes to New Mexico State University from Grand Prairie, Texas. He was born on January 4, 1991 and has a twin sister named Lydia. Ross-Miller is majoring in business and can speak both English and French. Before New Mexico State University, he spent his freshman season at New Orleans from 2010-2011. Ross Miller’s favorite moment was winning the WAC and playing in the NCAA tournament as an Aggie. Before each game, he likes to pray and sing as he prepares to take on the opposing team. Last season, Ross Miller played in 30 games and started in 26 contests. Off the court, Ross-Miller earned Academic All-WAC team honors.

The Aggies open the season tonight at 11:30p.m. (MT) against Western Michigan in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Aggie fans can catch the action on KGRT 103.9 FM or listen to it from anywhere around the world on the Internet at www.NMStateSports.com by clicking on the live events tab.
