LAS VEGAS (March 9)-New Mexico State junior forward Troy Gillenwater was named to the first team National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District Six Team, the organization announced.

He leads the Aggies with a team-high 19.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. This is Gillenwater first career all-district honor, and the fifth consecutive season an Aggie has garnered the award.

Gillenwater guides the Aggies into the 2011 WAC Tournament as the No. 3 seed. NM State has a first round bye and plays the winner of the No. 6 seed Nevada-No. 7 seed Fresno State game, Thursday, March 10 at 3:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
