5 Julius Fleming

2010 (Junior): Fleming played in two games for the Aggies in 2010 at wide receiver, against Idaho (Oct. 23) and Hawai’i (Nov. 27).

2009 (Sophomore): Fleming played in nine games for NM State in 2009 at the wide receiver position. Fleming grabbed four passes for 27 yards on the season, including a long of 11 yards against Prairie View A&M (9/12). He caught a career-high two passes for 12 yards at New Mexico (9/26). He also recorded one kickoff return for 16 yards against UTEP (9/19).

2008 (Freshman): Fleming played in 12 games for NM State at wide receiver and as a kick returner in 2008. On the season, Fleming caught 13 passes for 166 yards and recorded 11 kickoff returns for 181 yards. At Nebraska (9/13), he grabbed two passes for 60 yards and had four returns for a season-high 76 yards. Fleming caught a season-high three passes for 41 yards versus Boise State (11/1). He also returned four kickoffs for 62 yards. Against Alcorn State (10/4), he caught two passes for 22 yards. Versus New Mexico (9/27), he tallied two kickoff returns for 32 yards. Fleming grabbed at least two receptions in five games during the season.

High School: Fleming was Catholic High School’s leading rusher in 2005 with 1,386 yards rushing, averaging 8.5 per carry and accounting for seven touchdowns. He also caught 27 passes for 605 yards, averaging 22.4 yards per catch and eight touchdowns. He helped his team to a 12-1 overall record in 2005 and a spot in the state semifinals. He earned first team all-district, the district most valuable player, first team all-metro and first team all-state honors in 2005. He was also selected to play in the Capital City Classic All-Star game. Fleming was also named an academic all-state selection. During his junior season, He was named first team all-district and rushed for over 700 yards in seven games.

Personal: Fleming is the son of Robin Fleming. He is majoring in management.
