30 Kenny Evora

2009 (Junior): Evora played tight end, linebacker and on special teams for the Aggies in 2009. At tight end, Evora caught one pass for two yards and his first career touchdown at San Diego State (10/3). On special teams, Evora grabbed two tackles on the year.

2008 (Sophomore): Evora played in just one game for the Aggies in 2008 at Nebraska (9/13).

2007 (Redshirt Freshman): Evora saw action in just one game in 2007 against Hawai’i (10/27).

2006 (Freshman): Evora did not play in 2006 due to an injury.

High School: Evora played safety and wide receiver for the Mesa Ridge Grizzles. During his senior season, Evora recorded 10 catches and four touchdowns, while averaging 28 yards per catch. On the defensive side of the ball, Evora tallied 77 tackles, four interceptions and a fumble recovery. He was named a first team all-conference selection his senior year. He suffered a season-ending injury his junior season. In his sophomore season, he earned Gatorade Rookie of the Year accolades after recording 64 tackles and an interception.

Personal: He is the son of Ken and Gail Evora. He is majoring in criminal justice.
