90 E.J. Cannon

2008 (Junior): Cannon played in five games for the Aggies, recording just one tackle on the season at UTEP (9/20).


2007 (Redshirt Junior): Cannon redshirted during his first season with the Aggies.


New Mexico Military Institute: Cannon lettered two years at New Mexico Military Institute where he played defensive end. He played in five games in 2006 and recorded three tackles. In 2005, he played in all 11 games and recorded 37 total tackles and one quarterback sack, ten of those tackles were tackles for a loss. He attained the rank of 1st lieutenant in the corp of cadets at NMMI.


High School: Cannon played for the Odessa High School Broncos where he saw action at defensive end, tight end, fullback and offensive tackle. He was named to the class 3-5A honorable all-District his senior season. He was also named the Redzone Player of the Year in 2005. He was a power lifter in high school, earning regional champion awards in 2005. He finished ninth in the state power lifting meet in 2005. Cannon also played basketball and track and field.


Personal: Cannon is the son of Ebbie and Holly Cannon. He plans on majoring in individualized studies.
