29 Doug McDaniel

2007 (Junior): McDaniel played in three games for the Aggies in 2007, seeing action against Southeastern Louisiana, New Mexico and Auburn.


2006 (Red Shirt Sophomore): McDaniel played in six games for the Aggies in 2006. He had one kick return for eight yards against Louisiana Tech (12/2). He was also the team’s place kicker against San Jose State (11/4) where he went 3-for-3 on PATs. He was 3-for-4 on PATs during the season.


2005 (Sophomore):  McDaniel red shirted during his first season with the Aggies.


2004 (Freshman): Did not play during the 2004 season.


High School: McDaniel was named District 1-5a MVP as both a junior and senior. He was named first team All-City as a quarterback his junior year and received the same honor as a kicker in 2003. As a senior he was named Albuquerque Athlete of the Year. McDaniel served as captain of his basketball and football team during his junior and senior years. He graduated in the top 5 percent of his class and was the recipient of the Maloof Scholarship.


Personal: Doug is from Albuquerque, N.M. and is the grandson of Sandy Garcia. He is planning to major in business at New Mexico State.
