85 Drew Thatcher

2007 (Sophomore): Thatcher played in three games for the Aggies in 2007.


2006 (Red Shirt Freshman): Thatcher played in one game in 2006.


2005 (Freshman): Drew red shirted during his first season with the Aggies.


High School: Drew was defensive end and tight end for the Hot Springs Tigers. During his junior season, he helped lead the Tigers to an 8-4 record and a second place finish in district. His team would also make the state semifinal game. As a senior, Drew and the Tigers won the district championship and earned an 8-3 overall record. The Tigers made the state quarterfinals. He earned all-District honors in 2003 as well as all-State second team. Drew also played in the North-South All-Star game in 2004. He also earned two letters in basketball and track & field.


Personal: Drew was born on April 5, 1986 and is the son of Richard Thatcher. He plans to major in Physical Education while at NMSU.
