The Lobos finished 9-4 and won the school’s first bowl game since 1961. Miller joins the NM State coaching staff after a career with the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL. Miller was a part of a Blackhawks organization that enjoyed one of the greatest turnarounds ever in professional sports, finishing with a berth in the Western Conference Finals in 2009. Miller graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and a minor in business. He started graduate school at UNM in sports administration and is currently working on his master’s degree in education at NM State.
