2008 (Freshman): Eres was a walk-on for the Aggies in 2008. 


High School: Eres was a three-sport star for St. Michael’s High School in Sante Fe, N.M., playing football, basketball and track. Under coach Joey Fernandez, Eres and the Horseman football team won one state championship in his senior season in 2007 and they had three other semifinal appearances in his career. Eres played was a defensive back and wide receiver while he handled the punt and kickoff return duties. He was a three-time all-district and all-state selection. In basketball, Eres led the Horseman two state championships in 2006 and 2006 and they were a semifinalists in 2008. In his last three seasons, St. Michael’s High School had a 76-13 record. Eres was a sprinter and competed in the triple jump on the track and field team. He was part of the runner-up 4x100 meter relay team and on the third place 4x200 team. He finished in second place in the 400 meter and had a long triple jump of 40 feet three inches.


Personal: Eres was born in Santa Fe, N.M. and is the son of Sally and Luis Eres. Both of his parents are graduates of New Mexico State University. He was an honor roll student in high school and is majoring in civil engineering at NMSU.
