2010 (Junior): Fils played in 12 games for the Aggies at defensive end in 2010. On the year, Fils tallied 36 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, four quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and a pass break-up. Against UTEP (Sept. 18), Fils recorded four tackles. At Fresno State (Oct. 16), he recorded a season-high five tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss and his first sack of the season. Fils also recorded five tackles against San Jose State (Oct. 30) and Utah State (Nov. 6). He tallied at least three tackles in eight of the 12 games during the season.
2009 (Sophomore): Fils played in all 13 games for the Aggies in 2009 at the defensive end position. Fils tallied 53 tackles on the season, including eight tackles for a loss, seven sacks, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a pass break-up. Fils' seven sacks was the most by an Aggie player since the 1992 and the fifth-highest sack total in a single season in school history. Against Idaho (Sep. 5), Fils grabbed five tackles and his first career sack. Two games later versus UTEP (Sept. 19), Fils grabbed a then career-high six tackles and his first career, multi-sack game with two. He also recorded two tackles for a loss. Fils then tallied five tackles against Utah State (Oct. 10), Fresno State (Oct. 24) and Ohio State (Oct. 31). Versus Fresno State, Fils recorded his first forced fumble. Fils tallied a career-high eight tackles at San Jose State (Nov. 28), including two tackles for a loss and a sack. Fils was also named to the 2009 Phil Steele's Postseason All-WAC Team.
2008 (Freshman): Fils played in 10 games for the Aggies on the defensive line in 2008. On the season, Fils recorded 12 tackles. Against Utah State (Nov. 29), Louisiana Tech (Nov. 22), Fresno State (Nov. 15) and Nevada (Oct. 11), Fils tallied two tackles in each game. He recorded at least one tackle in seven games.
Fork Union Military Academy: Fils played at Fork Union Military Academy in 2007.
High School: Fils led Don Bosco Prep High School to the New Jersey State Championship in 2006. He was a second team all-league linebacker and he also lettered in basketball for the Ironmen.
Personal: Fils Jr. is the son of Margie and Pierre Fils Sr., and has a brother Andre and sister Chontel. He is majoring in criminal justice.
