2008 (Freshman):  Lopez was a walk-on for the Aggies in 2008.

 

 

High School: Julio was a standout wide receiver for Montwood High School in El Paso, Texas. As a senior, Julio helped Montwood to a district championship and an 8-3 record. He tallied 52 catches for 978 yards abd seven touchdowns. He also earned first team all-District and all-City as well as honorable mention all-State. Julio also played in the Senior All-Star game and was named the Prices Give ‘Em Five Receiver of the Year as a senior. As a junior, Julio caught 26 passes for 540 yards and six touchdowns. He earned second team all-District and honorable mention all-City. He was also a two-time Academic All-District selection and graduated in the top-10 in his graduating class.

 

Personal: Julio is the son of Julio and Estela Lopez. He plans to major in English.
