LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State football team completed fall camp practice No. 6 and No.7, Wednesday, Aug. 6 on the football practice field on the campus of NM State. The Aggies participated in their first two-a-day of fall camp under the hot New Mexico sun with temperatures ranging from 85-degrees during the morning practice and 95-degrees in the afternoon.
The NM State football team was in full pads again today keeping the Aggie athletic training team on their toes to keep the student-athletes well hydrated. The Aggie coaching staff emphasized footwork and fundamentals in the morning and went over offensive and defensive schemes in the afternoon.
Head coach Doug Martin and his staff continue to work hard to push their team to become successful, while also working hard during film sessions to see where areas of improvement are and to see areas of greatness.
NM State is still in the NCAA mandatory five-day acclimation period. The Aggies have one practice scheduled for, Thursday, Aug. 7 at 3 p.m. (MT) on the practice field.
