Former Aggies Participate in Pro Day

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Former New Mexico State football players participated in the Aggies' Pro Scout Day to display their skills for NFL personnel, Wednesday, March 5 in Las Cruces, N.M.

National Football League scouts from the Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers were all present.

The pro scouts evaluated former Aggies including linebacker Bryan Bonilla, wide receiver Xzavian Brandon, safety George Callender, safety Davis Cazares, punter Cayle Chapman-Brown, defensive lineman Kalvin Cruz, defensive back Anthony Edwards, wide receiver Austin Franklin, defensive back Cameron Fuller, defensive back Darien Johnson, long snapper Mike Kaiser, defensive line Kevin Laudermill, quarterback Andrew McDonald, defensive lineman Willie Mobley, linebacker Trashaun Nixon, defensive lineman Nick Oliva, running back Yolandus Pratt, offensive lineman Dada Richards, tight end Perris Scoggins and offensive lineman Davonte Wallace.

The event began in the Coca-Cola weight room where scouts complied measurements including heights and weights before players were tested on the bench press and vertical jump.

The assessment moved to Aggie Memorial Stadium where the players participated in the 40-yard dash, the L-Drill and the Pro Agility Shuttle. Position drills also took place at Aggie Memorial.
