LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State punter Cayle Chapman-Brown has been named FBS Independent Special Teams Players of the Week, for games played through Saturday, Nov. 9.  This is Chapman-Brown’s first-time honorees.

A senior from Sydney, Australia, Chapman-Brown punted seven times for a 51.9-yard average, with a long kick of 58 yards, in New Mexico State’s 48-34 home loss to Boston College.  Four of Chapman-Brown’s punts were downed inside the BC 20-yard line, with three of his kicks pinning the Eagles inside their 15-yard line.
