Niumatalolo Named to the ESPN Academic All-District VI

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - New Mexico State junior defensive lineman David Niumatalolo was named to the ESPN Academic All-District VI first team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced, Thursday, Nov. 4. 

Niumatalolo, a member of the Aggie football team, now qualifies for the All-America honor, which will be released later this month.  A native of Kahuku, Hawai'i, Niumatalolo has a 4.0 G.P.A. in biology.

This season, Niumatalolo has played in eight games for the Aggies recording 14 tackles, three tackles for a loss of five yards, a quarterback hurry and a fumble recovery.

The Aggies take on Utah State Saturday, Nov. 6, in Logan, Utah. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m.
