LAS CRUCES, N.M. – With the 2014 football fall camp coming to an end and the fall semester starting Head Coach Doug Martin and the staff have decided to close practice to the public for the rest of the year.
Fans had a chance to catch approximately 20 practices during fall camp but will now have to wait until game time to catch the 2014 team in action. Official members of the media are still allowed at the first 45 minutes of practice but must have permission from Eddie Morelos of the NM State Media Relations office.
The home opener is on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. (MT) and is being marketed as Ag Day, with over 40 New Mexico agriculture companies on display during tailgating. The Aggies will play host to Cal Poly.
Season tickets start at just $50 and can be purchased by calling the Pan American Center ticket office at 575-646-1420 or by going online to www.TicketMaster.com. Single-game tickets for the NM State football home opener on Thursday, August 28, go on sale Thursday, August 21 at 10 a.m. (MT). Single-game tickets start at $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
