LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State University football team participated in a scrimmage, Thursday, Aug. 14 and held a regular practice, Friday, Aug. 15 on the practice field, next to Aggie Memorial Stadium.

Head Coach Doug Martin was pleased with how the defense started out in the scrimmage, Thursday and was happy to see the offense finish strong.  The Aggies practiced quite a bit on special teams on Friday.

The 2014 NM State football season opens up on Thursday, Aug. 28 against Cal Poly University in Aggie Memorial Stadium.  Season tickets start at just $50 and can be purchased by calling 575-646-1420 or by going online to www.NMStateSports.com.
