LAS CRUCES – The New Mexico State University athletic department recently partnered with four local restaurants to provide supplemental meals for NM State student-athletes. The Game Sports Bar & Restaurant, Golden Corral, Furr’s, and St. Clair Bistro have been named Official Nutrition Partners of NM State Athletics.
Don Decker, Director of Strength & Conditioning, created this new endeavor to enhance summer nutrition for NM State student-athletes, as part of his comprehensive plan to transform the strength and conditioning program at New Mexico State.
“We want to thank our new Nutrition Partners for their generous support of our strength & conditioning program,” said Decker. “Each of these fine restaurants is making an enormous difference to our student-athletes and teams.”
The four restaurants will host the student-athletes once per week during the two summer school sessions.
“St Clair Winery and Bistro is a family owned business that values sharing a family meal. Opening our doors and pulling up an extra chair at our dinner table to partner with NMSU Athletics was a natural fit. Go Aggies!” said Lori Paulson, marketing manager.
As always, Aggie fans are encouraged to strongly consider all NM State athletic partners when making buying decisions.
