Training: "I prefer to train outside; being in the fresh air helps our breathing and having the New Mexico sun on us every day is mentally warming.  Having a 10-lane, 50-meter pool with another six-lane 25-yard pool provides us with an incredible amount of space to do whatever we want."

Competition: "We have an amazing meet management staff here and with ten lanes the options for larger heats makes things easier.  We have a great scoreboard as well which is very reliable.  Things run very smoothly here."

Recruiting: "When I first saw this pool, my jaw dropped.  Who wouldn't want to train in such a great complex?  It's appealing to every prospective student-athlete and a tremendous recruiting tool.  We are blessed to have such a nationally competitive facility.  There are some great programs that would give their left arm to have what we do."
