Release:  08/17/2013

The New Mexico State football team held its second scrimmage of fall camp on Saturday in Aggie Memorial Stadium. The Aggies played for about an hour and a half. The team worked on red zone and situational schemes. The offense was led by its running backs corps, Germi Morrison, Brandon Betancourt and Xavier Hall. All three backs had big plays during the scrimmage. The Aggie defense also made some big plays on the day, getting after the NM State quarterbacks and ending the scrimmage with a turnover. NM State will be back on the field on Monday afternoon for practice, beginning at 3 p.m. To hear what head coach Doug Martin thought about the scrimmage click the video below.
